- General bankruptcy counsel to debtors: (1) HydroGen, LLC, Terra Nostra Resources Corp., and PubliCARD, Inc., public companies that filed for bankruptcy protection in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York; (2) R. Esmerian, Inc., a wholesale dealer in precious stones and rare jewelry; and (3) bars/nightclubs Genco Importing Inc. d/b/a Manitoba’s (majority-owned by Steven Van Zandt) and Southampton Yen Restaurant Group, LLC, renowned New York bars/nightclubs.
- Counsel to the purchaser of a $30 million revenue dairy business out of bankruptcy in May 2011.
- Counsel to former Italian senator and film producer Vittorio Cecchi Gori, a creditor in a large Chapter 11 bankruptcy case.
- Counsel to creditors on the official committees of unsecured creditors in Chemtura Corporation, Mark IV Industries, Inc., and The Wilkes Bashford Company.

- Counsel to hedge funds DG Capital Management LLC, Esplanade Capital LLC, and Bulldog Investors in matters such as distressed equity investments and real estate syndications.
- Counsel to hedge fund Andover Capital Group Limited, as buyer of a digital printing business, and to Kinespirit Inc., as buyer of a gyrotonics business.
- Counsel to Success Charter Network and The Conran Shop in their negotiation of new leases and other matters.

- Counsel to Bank of America, as indenture trustee and transferee of assets, in its successful action to recover on a Medicaid reimbursement claim.
- Counsel to RBS Citizens, N.A. and MCI Communications Services, Inc. (f/k/a Worldcom) in appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
- Counsel to dozens of preference defendants sued for a total of over $6 million. Although prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome for new clients, on average, our preference defense clients have paid out less than 6% of the amount for which they were sued.
